Air Fryer Bacon

Air Fryer Bacon

Hi y’all, I know I have been taking Saturdays off and will continue to do so but I had to pop in and share something I can’t believe I have never tried until now. Frying bacon in my air fryer was the easiest thing…besides french fries and chicken nuggets for Zaylee that I’ve ever done in mine. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to attempt it but she wanted some bacon and I was in the middle of something and had the air fryer out so I thought, why not? I cooked the first batch too long and it got too done for our taste, we ate it but then I tried a second batch and this one came out just right. We don’t like extra crispy bacon so if you do, add a minute or so more than I did.

Side note: I see in comments many of you have done this with no water, I used water to prevent splatter which it did, but will try without water next time. I love learning new things from everyone, don’t y’all?

I hope y’all are enjoying your weekend, see you on Monday.

Ingredients

Air Fryer Bacon

  • bacon (mine held 5 slices)
  • 1/4 C. water

Instructions

Put the water in the bottom of your air fryer. Put the bacon in the basket, arranging it as best you can. Set the temp. to 400 degrees for 8- 9 minutes. After 4 minutes, turn the bacon over and continue to cook. That’s it. Adjust the time to your desired doneness for the bacon.
